On the evening of June 12, 2026, the 250 Ride journey continues at one of Delaware’s most unique and scenic venues—the 250 Ride Gala at Thousand Acre Farm.
Set against a stunning waterfront backdrop in Middletown, this special event offers guests the rare opportunity to step directly into the living story of America’s founding—where history is not simply remembered, but experienced in real time.
A Moment Along the Journey
The gala is not a standalone event—it is part of the journey.
Earlier that day, the 250 Ride will officially begin at historic Christ Church on The Green in Dover with a special gathering and prayer, marking the ceremonial launch of the reenactment. From there, Caesar Rodney will depart Dover and begin his ride toward Philadelphia.
By evening, he will arrive at Thousand Acre Farm, marking a powerful midpoint in the two-day experience.
Guests will witness this moment as it unfolds—not as a staged performance, but as history in motion—before Rodney continues his ride the following morning.
A One-of-a-Kind Setting
Located along the waterfront in Middletown, Thousand Acre Farm provides a setting that blends rustic charm with refined elegance. Known for its scenic views, barn architecture, and expansive grounds, the venue creates an atmosphere that is both intimate and unforgettable.
As the sun sets over the water, guests will gather in a space that feels both timeless and celebratory—an iconic setting worthy of the story being told.
An Immersive Historical Experience
Throughout the evening, attendees will encounter members of the Unheard Voices of the Revolution, representing the diverse individuals whose contributions helped shape the nation but are too often overlooked.
At the center of it all, Caesar Rodney will be present in full wardrobe, portrayed by Ciro Poppiti. His presence transforms the evening into something far more than a traditional gala—it becomes a living connection between past and present.
Guests will have the opportunity to engage with historical figures, capture once-in-a-lifetime moments, and experience the mission of the 250 Ride in a deeply personal way.
An Elevated Evening Experience
The 250 Ride Gala is designed as a full evening experience—one that blends history, hospitality, and celebration.
Guests will begin with a cocktail hour featuring curated appetizers, offering time to explore the grounds, connect with fellow attendees, and take in the setting.
As the evening progresses, guests will be invited to enjoy a full dinner service, thoughtfully prepared to complement the tone and significance of the occasion.
Throughout the night, attendees will be serenaded by live music, adding to the atmosphere and enhancing the elegance of this unforgettable evening.
A cash bar will be available, featuring a selection of beverages including the official 250 Ride beer, created in collaboration with First State Brewing Company.
