The Final Walk to Independence Hall

Follow the final chapter of the 250Ride.org Living History Reenactment as Caesar Rodney and his companions leave the carriage behind and continue the journey on foot through Philadelphia.

These photographs capture the final 4.7 miles from Passyunk Avenue to Independence Hall, from interactions with onlookers and supporters along the route to the unforgettable arrival in the heart of historic Philadelphia. After two days on the road, the journey concludes where Rodney’s historic mission led nearly 250 years before, Independence Hall.
