As Caesar Rodney, portrayed by Ciro Poppiti III, traveled the Separation Day Parade route by horse-drawn carriage, thousands of spectators lined Delaware Street to welcome one of the state's greatest founding figures. Families, children, and history enthusiasts stepped into the story, greeting Caesar Rodney, the Unheard Voices of the Revolution, and the members of the 1st Delaware Regiment throughout one of Delaware's most cherished annual traditions.
