Carman Auto Group President Larry Giacchino Helps Bring Caesar Rodney's Historic Ride to Delaware Audiences

As Delaware prepares to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence, the Delaware Italian American Foundation and 250Ride.org are proud to recognize Larry Giacchino, President of Carman Auto Group, for helping bring the story of Caesar Rodney's legendary Ride for Independence to audiences throughout the First State.

Recognizing the importance of preserving and sharing Delaware's unique Revolutionary history, Giacchino personally spearheaded an effort to support a statewide radio awareness campaign through partnerships with iHeartMedia and Draper Media. The campaign, airing from June 1 through June 13, features promotional spots on 94.7 WDSD and WDEL 101.7 FM, helping introduce listeners across Delaware to Caesar Rodney's historic ride, the Unheard Voices of the Revolution initiative, and the many events surrounding the upcoming two-day reenactment.

The radio campaign highlights key moments along the journey, including the official launch of the reenactment at historic Christ Episcopal Church in Dover on June 12, the 250 Ride Gala at Thousand Acre Farm in Middletown on the evening of June 12, and the June 13 continuation of the reenactment as Caesar Rodney joins Delaware's historic Separation Day Parade before continuing toward Philadelphia and concluding his journey later that evening near Independence Hall.

Through the statewide campaign, listeners are being introduced not only to Caesar Rodney's remarkable ride, but also to several of the Unheard Voices of the Revolution, helping bring greater awareness to the diverse individuals whose contributions helped shape the birth of our nation.

As part of its support of the initiative, Carman Auto Group will also showcase a new Lincoln Nautilus during the 250 Ride Gala on June 12 at Thousand Acre Farm in Middletown. The vehicle display serves as another example of the company's commitment to community engagement and support of educational and cultural initiatives throughout Delaware.

The 250 Ride Gala is one of the signature events of the two-day reenactment and will feature special guests, historical presentations, entertainment, and opportunities to support the ongoing educational mission of the Delaware Italian American Foundation and 250Ride.org. Members of the public are invited to attend the free launch event at Christ Episcopal Church in Dover on June 12, experience Caesar Rodney's appearance in the Separation Day Parade on June 13, and follow the historic journey as it makes its way toward Philadelphia during this landmark commemoration of America's founding.
