The 250 Ride Reception at Thousand Acre Farm is a unique and memorable evening that blends historical reenactment with refined hospitality in a truly one-of-a-kind setting. This special event will welcome VIPs, special guests of the reenactment, and partners of the 250 Ride — and is also open to the public with a limited number of tickets available. Set against the backdrop of one of Delaware’s most beautiful farm venues, guests will step into the living story of America’s founding as Caesar Rodney himself arrives as part of the ongoing 250 Ride reenactment. Having departed Dover earlier that day, Rodney will be mid-journey on his historic ride to Philadelphia, continuing the next morning to complete the reenactment.
