Join us at historic Christ Church on The Green in Dover for a special interdenominational prayer, bringing the community together in a spirit of unity, reflection, and reconciliation. Set beside Legislative Hall, this gathering honors the deeper purpose of the 250Ride.org initiative—acknowledging the full story of our nation’s founding, including the hardships endured and the voices too often left unheard.

This moment also serves as the official launching point of the Ride, making it a powerful first stop for attendees. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the prayer, see the carriage, meet Caesar Rodney, and engage with many of the reenactors before the journey begins—setting the tone for what lies ahead.

Members of the Unheard Voices of the Revolution will be present, offering a meaningful connection between past and present as we reflect together with humility and respect. Following the prayer (approx. 30 mins), Caesar Rodney will depart from this historic site, beginning the first leg of the reenactment journey toward Thousand Acre Farm in Middletown, where the day will conclude with the 250 Ride Gala.
